This unique FREE week-long camp offers an opportunity for youth in Southern Arizona to explore how music, sound, and images connect and inform each other. Youth will work with the KXCI Education Team to create their own unique playlists and zines. These are hands-on classes where students are introduced to broadcast equipment and rules, music appreciation and selection, creating music sets, reading station announcements, and talking about the music they love. Over this week-long camp, youth broadcasters will also learn to create a zine fostering further inspection of the music they love. Graduates will showcase their programs on The Future of Radio Sundays at 5 pm.
