Un(re)solved consists of a documentary, podcast, web-based interactive experience, and augmented-reality installation that examines the stories of lives cut short during the civil rights era and a present day federal effort to seek justice for the families.
In the web-based experience, viewers enter a quilted forest and move through interactive illustrated chapters learning about the people whose cases were reopened. Some names may be familiar like Emmett Till, others are lesser known everyday people.
There is also a companion Instagram experience and educational curriculum for grades 9-12 supported by an activity and graphic organizer.
