Student Reporting Labs (SRL) Student Journalism Challenge is a contest for students age 13-18 to submit stories about what is happening in school districts and communities, focusing on topics like school board meetings, school safety, how the current education system is or isn’t meeting student needs, and other issues in education that impact high school students. The curriculum and instruction resources support written, video and audio pieces and expert judges will select the top stories in each category.
