PBS Reno STEM Works Digital Shorts are fun, engaging videos that provide students aged 9-17 with knowledge and awareness of STEM careers available in northern Nevada. Working with businesses that have a presence in the PBS Reno viewing area, the PBS Reno team interviews and videos STEM employees with diverse backgrounds and career paths to encourage young adults they can pursue carers in STEM fields too. Leveraging our award-winning production background and experience providing educational workshops, PBS Reno is bringing this innovative and accessible new digital format to students across our viewing area. STEM Works digital shorts focus on highlighting employees who are women, Spanish-speaking, and people of color showcasing a variety of voices in STEM fields.
