Leveraging the combined experience and expertise of producers, journalists, and educators at NOVA, NOVA Science Studio (NSS) empowers teens with skills to tell engaging stories about science through short-form video. NOVA Science Studio is NOVA’s first youth program and the first project within the unit to create educational resources to teach science journalism and communication to high school teens aged 14-18. NSS aims to empower youth—especially those that are underrepresented in STEM—to engage in science journalism and communication about the issues that matter to them.
