The MPB Student Council/MPB Student Council Podcast is designed to connect with public media’s “Missing Middle” in Mississippi. The goals of this project are to engage teens and tweens in public media work, create young storytellers, and provide our youth an outlet of expression. Students will become content creators, gain valuable knowledge, and become public media advocates. We expect to learn what students think about various societal issues, their technology standards and usage, and how to better communicate with them. The students are responsible for publishing a monthly podcast.
