A curated U.S. History Collection on PBS LearningMedia for middle and high school teachers and students that will ultimately include over 350 digital media resources covering the scope and sequencing of a traditional U.S. history survey course. Supplemental resources elevate diverse stories, varied historical perspectives, and historical thinking skills; all resources include some form of media; and there will be over twenty new interactive lessons and interactives (maps, timelines, images) that put students at the center of the learning experience. Support materials also include Teaching Tips for teachers and Discussion Questions for students and in many cases independent student activities and background material.
