GBH’s High School Quiz Show is an award-winning broadcast and digital academic tournament that has been promoting inclusion and rewarding Massachusetts students for their love of knowledge since 2010. Hosted by local celebrity Billy Costa, this bracketed weekly series places brains over brawn in entertaining, engaging and highly competitive matches. Questions aligned with state curriculum standards fall within categories including literature, history, science, civics, and math, as well as current events. HSQS is a celebration of academic success, a source of school and community pride, and participation alone is recognized across the Commonwealth as a significant achievement.
