Ability Awareness

  • Currently active
  • Created by our station
In partnership with neurodivergent and disabled teens, KBTC created a series of accessible videos that address life skills needed for transitioning to the workplace and independent living. The tone, the speed, the approach, and the presentation all reflect a learning style accessible to the teens and allow them to develop their voices. The teens assisted in producing social-emotional informed videos that are relevant to all youth while building an authentic representation of youth with disabilities in media.
