Ben Franklin – The Man, The Myth, The Legend – Student created video for workshop

  • Currently active
  • Created by our station
This project will introduce Benjamin Franklin to youth from area schools in our city. We will record the students’ responses about Benjamin Franklin accomplishments and impact on our lives. WKNO and community partners developed a video presentation about Ben Franklin’s life as a writer, publisher, scientist, inventor, politician, and abolitionist. Middle and high school students will engage in a 30-minute open discussion about Franklin’s life. This project is also a unique opportunity to open doors to position a diverse, crew of youth in the city to train, create, produce, write, direct, and grow while taking part in this project.
